XXX1

I do not believe in violence and over discipline in any ways and in no institution even if it is supposed to be for the sake of the nation. Who decides for the nation? It doesnt need a brainwash on daily basis.I have learnt that efficiend and successful communication can be achieved by people's own will and only then there'll be peace ans understanding in this small world. If this is interpreted as an act against the nation, I am against the nation by all means. In the year 2009 when technology has become a part of daily routine, not mentionimg the military, no army is in need of 900 thousands of soldiers any more.

Peace can only be secured by the use of mediation and communication. There is a need for an open platform to discuss every issue. This would bring us to solutions. There's a need for understanding the other side of every idea.

There is no such power in a state to solve the problems in a society with a use of force. Use of power can only postpone the solution and hide it. But no problems can be hidden for long.

  1. I so much want to react on this, but it's hard to compose my thoughts into an understandable shape.

I used to be quite an utopist, as you probably remember, but as time goes by I started to realize that very many things in this world are given to us, and however hard we try we can 't fucking make a difference. Sometimes we do have to do reality-check.

Peace is one of the thing I'm not sure about anymore. Peace, if we only mean the lack of big wars, that might be achievable, hopefully. But peace, as lack of conflicts, as value-free communication and all this nice concepts, I think that's just against human nature. After all, we are just animals as well. Instincts (and values too) cannot be erased, and I suppose it wouldn't be that too good if they could be.

By this, I mean, if you solve a problem, there will be another one coming immediately. If you stop solving problem, that's death. Keep solving the problems, that's life. We all have individual solutions, some of us share the way of thinking, some of us don't. Many of us believe that force and war is the ultimate solution, because they basically equal death and extinction of the opposite side, or the problem as such. Many of us believe, that this other people are incredibly wrong, and we should encourage dialogue in order to "kill the conflict". None of this groups seem to manage, we are all fundamentally the same, none of this "method" solves the (whole) problem, only postpone and/or hide and/or transform it.

So what I'm saying, conflict is a natural part of life, a way how we develop or at least adapt ourselves.

And that's very true on the personal level. I hope you believe me that I don't want to be a smartass, but I have this strong feeling, that skipping the part of denial, the part where you focus all your energy on suffering about a fucked up situation (and I won't deny your situations is beautifully fucked up), it could save up so much energy.

Military service sucks, but a bit of discipline can be a great source of self-development. And often on those places - the places where you don't want to be at all - you can find amazingly wonderful people to make life-long friendships out of the common suffering.

I love utopist thinking, I love clever and meaningful activism – I do believe there are quite many things were we can make a difference, were we can make the world a bit better place. But I think overestimating our capacity, and a constant state of world/system/institution denial is not very healthy for the soul, and rather than help, just creates an obstacle in the way of improvement.

To sum it up, it’s great you are finding a way to steam out your frustrations on this blog, but I honestly think that by being a little more conservative (=close to reality) and a bit more Taoist (=accepting life’s shitness with a smile) you could be much better off, mentally.

Fuck it, after all I do sound like a smartass, but you know, that must be the Christian conservative upbringing, where suffering equals self development and a better soul. Whatever. I just believe that many of the miseries we simply cause for ourselves, and as long as we breath there is always a bloody positive side.

I shut up, at least for a while, promise.
    Best of luck!
